How we work

Explore. Execute. Evolve.

Start with a conversation about what is taking up your time. Decide what to change, then put the solution to work.

See how it works

Explore. Execute. Evolve.

Explore the problem, put the solution to work, and keep improving as the work changes.

  1. Explore — Book a Time

Book a quick 30–60 minute exploration call with us — we'll listen to your problems, find your pain points, and give you a free step-by-step guide to solving them. The call and the guide are yours — totally free. If you want, you can follow the guide and fix your problems DIY — with a little bit of elbow grease, there's nothing wrong with this. But if you'd rather not lift a finger, then we move to the second E:

  2. Execute

When you decide to move forwards, we set up the solution to your problem, without you having to do anything — and we'll finish within a week. After you're set up and enjoying more time to do what you love, comes the last step:

  3. Evolve

Getting your time back at lightning speed doesn't mean we're in a hurry to move on. As your business grows and changes, or you find more headaches that need fixing, we're here to make sure that you're never leaving time on the table, and get to spend your time doing what you love.

The tool does the repetition. You keep the decisions.

The projects share a practical pattern: gather the information, prepare the next step, and give the person doing the work a clear place to review it. The same idea shows up in time tracking, payroll reporting, and an inbox draft.

A person stays in control of the work.

Use the tools around the workflow you already know. The review point is part of the tool: a draft of the day, a monthly total, or an editable reply. The next action stays clear.

Review the draft
Look over the time entry before it is recorded.
Check the totals
Review hours and pay totals before export.
Choose the next step
Edit the reply and decide when it is ready.
01

Time and activity

Calendar, email, and file activity become a draft of the day. Each person reviews it before syncing approved entries into the existing Microsoft Access system.

  • Calendar and email
  • Draft of the day
  • Human review
02

Hours and reporting

Staff hours, categories, and rates come together for monthly review. Export a payroll-ready CSV and keep a record of entries marked paid.

  • Monthly review
  • Pay totals
  • CSV export
03

Maps and field tools

Address lookup, rooftop coordinates, and geographic boundaries turn location information into a view people can explore and field lists they can use.

  • Address matching
  • GIS mapping
  • Printable lists
04

Messages and follow-through

The inbox assistant in development sorts messages, captures tasks and promises, and prepares editable reply drafts for a person to review.

  • Custom categories
  • Tasks and promises
  • Editable drafts

Before we talk.

The first conversation is a chance to work through the task, what a useful solution would look like, and what happens next.

Do I have to be tech savvy to save time with Fuel?
Absolutely not. Much of what we build can be accomplished DIY, but we offer done-for-you solutions that fit right into your existing flow — keep everything you like, drop everything you don't, without lifting a finger.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Small businesses of every kind — professional services, nonprofits, trades, design and engineering firms. We build around the way your business already works, so nobody has to change what they do to get the time back.
How long does it take?
We finish within a week of you deciding to move forward.
What does it cost?
It depends on what we are building. You get a number on the exploration call, before anything is built and before you commit to anything.

See how the approach shows up in the work.

Automated time tracking

Microsoft 365 activity becomes a draft of the working day. Staff review their entries before choosing to sync them into Microsoft Access.

Hours & payroll reporting

Staff hours, categories, and rates come together for monthly review. Export approved totals to CSV for the existing payroll workflow.

Online learning platform

Lessons, quizzes, progress tracking, and course administration in a custom learning platform. The platform is built; course content is in production.

GIS mapping & location tools

Address lookup, rooftop geocoding, and geographic boundaries turn location data into interactive maps and printable field lists.
