What we build
The timesheet we built for CM Peck, an architecture, structural and civil engineering firm in Los Angeles.
Everything shown is demo data. The working version reads a real practice’s email, calendar, Teams and desktop activity.
From activity to a reviewed timesheet
This demonstration follows the time tracking workflow built for CM Peck Inc. Microsoft 365 activity supplies a draft of the working day, giving staff a place to start when they review their time. Calendar, email, and file activity provide context that would otherwise need to be gathered across separate tools.
A draft is different from a final time entry. The person reviewing the day decides what to record before choosing to sync approved entries into the firm’s existing Microsoft Access system. The application brings information together and supports that review; the user controls the handoff to the database.
The video uses demonstration data so you can follow the workflow without seeing private client records. Watch how the day comes together and how the review fits between gathering activity and saving time. The captions provide another way to follow the demonstration while the video is playing.
For a practice considering a similar tool, start with the systems your team already uses and the destination for its approved time. The useful question is where a custom application can remove repeated entry while preserving the review your process needs. Read the CM Peck project story for the project context, or book a call to talk through your own workflow.
