The Challenge
A phone inquiry needs a clear path from the conversation to an available appointment.
An AI receptionist connects inbound calls, appointment availability, and a booking board. The workflow is in development.
A phone inquiry needs a clear path from the conversation to an available appointment.
The useful handoff is between what a caller says and what a scheduling system can record. A conversation alone does not reserve a time, and a calendar alone cannot ask why someone is calling. This project connects those two parts of the workflow so a phone inquiry can move toward an appointment in one sequence.
The voice agent handles the conversation, while the availability check supplies the appointment options. The booking board gives the workflow a place to record the booking, and the call record preserves the context of the inquiry. Each part has a separate purpose: understanding the request, finding a time, and recording the outcome.
For a business considering this approach, the first questions are practical: which calls should lead to bookings, what information is needed, and which calendar should hold the appointment? Those decisions define the integration. This example remains in development; it illustrates the connected workflow rather than a completed client deployment.
The build demonstrates a phone-to-booking workflow with a voice agent, appointment availability, a booking board, and call records. The workflow remains in development.

Before connecting a receptionist to a business calendar, define what counts as a bookable appointment. Consider service types, opening hours, appointment length, and the information the caller should provide. Also decide how a person should take over when a request falls outside that scope. These are scoping questions for a deployment, not features claimed as finished in this development example.
